Our Vessel | MV Pembroke

Built originally in 1962 by AG price in Auckland and designed by the famous  New Zealand marine architect Athol burns, she was originally launched as a day boat in Milford Sound by government owned  Tourism Holding Group.  As part of a massive clear out of government owned assets MVP was sold in the late 1980’s. She was converted to a dive charter boat operating SCUBA trips in Milford Sound.

 

In the early 1990’s a group of friends who owned a private vessel operating in Dusky and Breaksea sounds, got together with the idea upsize their vessel and share this become one of the first charter vessels offering multi night trips in Doubtful, Breaksea and Dusky Sounds.
