Ready to experience Fiordland?
All of our charters are for exclusive use of the MV Pembroke and are individually customised to your requirements, fully catered and supplemented by your 'catch of the day'.
MV Pembroke comfortably accommodates a maximum of 7 singles, or 8 if there is one couple using a double cabin. We have 2 x double cabins plus a bunkroom with 5 single bunks. There are two bathrooms with showers which are separate to the accommodation (see below).
We like to compare the MV Pembroke to a comfortable kiwi batch with the added bonus of revolving scenery. Our boat is warm, comfortable and spacious with plenty of room to relax or play.
Bookings can be made up to 2 years in advance and we recommend getting in touch early to ensure you get your pick of the dates, once dates are confirmed we require a 20% deposit of the charter rate to confirm your spot with the balance payable 1 month prior to your departure date. Our main charter season runs from October through until June but don't hesitate to talk to us about dates outside these months.
Getting here
There is no road access to Dusky or Breaksea Sound making it one of the most remote areas in New Zealand. All of our charters start and finish in Te Anau, Southland. In partnership with Southern Lakes Helicopters your journey begins and ends with a 30 minute helicopter flight across the Southern Alps. On arrival in Fiordland you will land on the beach in either Supper Cove or Broughton Arm where you will be tendered across to the MV Pembroke.
